Wasps Netball were founded in June 2016 and compete in the Vitality Netball Superleague – the highest level of domestic netball in the country.
In their inaugural season they were crowned Superleague champions, beating Loughborough Lightning in the 2017 Grand Final.
Wasps went on to secure back-to-back league titles, again beating Lightning in the 2018 Grand Final at the Copper Box Arena.
In 2019 Wasps reached their third consecutive Grand Final and came runners up to Manchester Thunder.
The Wasps Netball team have also been very successful in the British Fast5 All-stars championship over the last two years taking the title in 2018 and coming runners up in 2019.
Mel Mansfield is in her second season as Head Coach. The team play their home games in both the Ericsson Indoor Arena at the Ricoh Arena and in the Sport and Wellness Hub at the University of Warwick. The team also train at the University of Warwick.
Wasps Netball cements the Ricoh Arena as the hub for elite sport in the region and widens the ability to reach out to the entire community.
