Wasps Netball have joined forces with global Japanese sports brand Mizuno to produce their kit ahead of the 2019 Vitality Netball Superleague.
The Coventry based club have signed a three-year agreement with the world-renowned sportswear brand which will cover playing and training kit for the senior team as well as age group categories. Mizuno have already identified the talent and potential within Wasps Netball, with Fran Williams and Josie Huckle being ambassadors of the brand.
Sarah Taylor, Wasps Netball Franchise Manager, said ‘We’re delighted to have partnered with an innovative and creative sports brand such as Mizuno to create our first team kit.’
‘There’s a real excitement around Wasps Netball at the moment, with world class signings and as defending champions of the league, we aim to build on this momentum with the help of Mizuno.’
‘Kit is a really important aspect for the team, so ensuring they have the highest quality is paramount. The team are really excited to run out in Mizuno kit for the first time at the Fast Five tournament which is being held on 13th October, with the Vitality Superleague dress being released later in the year.’
With a number of the double champion team re-signing contracts for the 19 Vitality Superleague Season, including captain Hannah Knights and Commonwealth Gold Medallist Jade Clarke, Wasps are looking strong for the new season.
